Moving away from the burn it down model (lord knows I felt that and then learned that's a capitalist mindset!!) but I'm down for building the new while the old collapses. That's what we've been doing! <3
Reminds me of a favorite quote of mine by Bucky Fuller “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete” it’s a funny place to be - still having to play the capitalism game while dreaming of and creating the new model, but delightful to be doing it together!
I’ve been feeling this today and over the past year after being a corporate castaway and according to my family have never been so relaxed. I have American Detox and Farija Roisin’s Who is Wellness For? to dive into but it seems in order to change anything we need to actively weave more women into the fold of earning money (not side hustling) in passive ways (not maneater ways) in order for them to wean themselves off this masculine and extractive, not to mention consumerist mindset. Otherwise it’s out of the “cauldron” and into the fire 🔥
These topics are very nuanced, and full of paradoxical ironies. I am all about calling in that passive, easeful gentle abundance for all! Appreciate your perspective, as per always.
