All of you who have told me that I smell good recently? This is why. Amy Thornton, founder of Birchstone Apothecary, told me that this blend came to her in a dream, which makes sense because it is DREAMY af. I’ll be honest I don’t love the aroma of Jasmine on its own, but it is absolute perfection here, with well balanced warm and cool notes overall.
Blue Lotus Touch. This precious beauty is a profound ally for meditation and third eye activation. Recently, I have also been using it in my daily skincare rituals because I learned that Squalene is the main chemical constituent, which makes it super moisturizing and hydrating. After washing, I spritz with Rose Geranium Hydrosol from Birchstone Apothecary, and then mix a little Blue Lotus with about 3 drops of Yarrow Pom and massage onto my face.
Most lip balms, paradoxically, make my lips MORE dry after using them. I don’t know why this is, but thanks, I hate it. Also, I do not like having my lips taste like mint or other fruity flavors. This is why I have been in a monogamous relationship with Evan Healy Lip Balm for the past 6 or 7 years. It is SO hydrating and nourishing, especially in these dry winter months, and it doesn’t have any scent or flavoring. Available at A-Market in Newport for all you Rhode Islanders, or purchase directly from their website to avoid supporting Bezos.
